Specialist (re)insurance broker BMS has appointed Morna Leather as chief financial officer. Leather will be based in London and will report to Nick Moss, group director of BMS.
In her new role, Leather will support BMS’ UK CEO Ian Gormly and BMS’ international CEO Nick Gillett in their respective roles.
Leather has more than 25 years of financial experience. She joins BMS from insurance broker Ardonagh Global Partners where she was most recently chief financial officer.
Prior to this, Leather held various senior positions at (re)insurance broker RFIB, including chief financial officer and head of corporate strategy.
Commenting on Leather’s appointment, Moss says: “Morna is an exceptionally talented finance professional and brings a wealth of experience to BMS.”
He adds: “Her insight, strong interpersonal skills and deep understanding of the industry will assist us in maintaining the smooth running of our business.”
