Reliance Matrix introduces new “Text Back” technology

Employee benefits solutions provider Reliance Matrix has integrated its new “Text Back” technology into its claim experience services. This technology allows employees to confirm or change their return-to-work status through text messaging.

Once employees respond to a text inquiry, all integrated systems are updated so employers can stay informed about the status of their workforce.

Historically, the return-to-work touchpoint — confirming dates and other information between Reliance Matrix’s absence management specialists and employees — took place via phone call. This was subject to delays from missed calls and voicemails, resulting in data gaps, and in some cases, missed deadlines.

Mark Marsters, CEO of Reliance Matrix and president of Matrix Absence Management, says: “Text Back resolves that issue, making it safe and intuitive for the employee to provide necessary information in real-time.”

He adds “Data is then immediately available to managers and HR teams so that vital staffing decisions can be made accordingly.”
