The Insurance Managers Association of Cayman (IMAC) confirms its 2025 Cayman Captive Forum, the world’s largest captive forum, is officially sold out. The event takes place from 2–4 December at The Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman. The Forum attracts a dynamic mix of global captive owners, service providers, and industry experts. It remains a premier gathering for professionals seeking to exchange ideas and explore emerging trends shaping the captive insurance landscape. This year's event includes close to 300 first-time attendees. Michael Wild, IMAC Forum Committee Chair, says: “Our sold-out event underscores not only the strength of Cayman’s captive industry, but also the collaborative spirit and global reach of this community. We look forward to welcoming everyone to another engaging and inspiring year”. The Cayman Islands is the second largest domicile in the world for captives. It is a dominant jurisdiction for healthcare captives, group captives, catastrophe bonds and international reinsurance. Keynote speakers for this year’s forum are Chris Lemons, a renowned deep-sea saturation diver and Netflix documentary subject Last Breath, and Rashmi Airan, an ethics and leadership speaker whose personal story offers a powerful exploration of accountability and integrity in business. The event’s signature social programme includes the Welcome Reception, the Beach Reception on Seven Mile Beach, and the annual Golf Tournament. This year, the Forum builds on attendee favourites with an expanded Pickleball Tournament, allowing more participants to join in the fun. A refreshed Wednesday evening event will also take place at Camana Bay, offering a new networking experience for delegates. IMAC extends its appreciation to all sponsors—including platinum sponsor, KPMG—speakers, and delegates for their continued support.
