The Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA) announces new dates for its 2026 Annual Conference, returning to its traditional Tuesday-to-Thursday schedule. The event will now take place from August 11 to August 13, 2026, in Burlington, Vermont. The shift to a Tuesday-Thursday schedule is a direct result of member feedback, according to VCIA President Ian Davis. "This change is a direct result of thoughtful feedback from our community, and it reflects our ongoing commitment to being responsive, member-driven, and intentional in everything we do,” said Davis. Gail Newman, VCIA Board Chair, adds that the return to this format "honours that tradition and ensures our conference continues to meet the evolving needs of the captive community”. The VCIA Annual Conference is the largest gathering of captive insurance professionals in the United States. The 2026 event will introduce new programming aligned with the association's strategic priorities.
