Willis launches new global risk engineering team

Willis, a WTW business, has announced the launch of its newly created global risk engineering team, which serves as an expansion of its global risk and analytics business. Wilis says these enhanced engineering capabilities will elevate “its ability to deliver industry-leading specialisation”, with the global risk engineering team providing both single-site and portfolio-level assessments. Approximately 200 risk engineers will operate across 30 countries — including North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, APAC, and LatAm — which Willis says will bring “global expertise and local specialisation” together in a bid to support multinational and large organisations. This will be done through a unification of property and casualty risk control expertise, in conjunction with data science, decision support tools, sector, and industry-specific knowledge. The global risk engineering team is positioned to deliver data-enabled, tailored solutions, designed to optimise risk strategies, according to the firm. Willis’ head of risk control and claims advocacy, risk and analytics, Marc Hindman, comments: “We are delighted to launch our new global risk engineering proposition, which represents a significant step forward in how we deliver value to clients.”
