Specialist Risk Group (SRG) has completed its acquisition of Ecclesia’s operations in the Netherlands and Belgium, finalising a deal originally announced in January 2025. The transaction includes BS&F, Concordia, Ecclesia BV, Finance & Insurance, IC Verzekeringen — CI Assurances, Sibbing, and XOLV — a group of established businesses that will form the foundation for SRG’s European growth strategy. As part of the deal, Ecclesia has also joined SRG’s investor group alongside Warburg Pincus, Temasek and SRG’s management team. The firms describe the partnership as a strategic alignment, designed to build a leading international specialist insurance intermediary. SRG says the acquired teams bring strong technical expertise, deep client relationships, and a cultural fit that supports its vision to be the natural home for specialist insurance talent across Europe. The deal continues SRG’s rapid international expansion, building on its growth momentum in the UK and globally.
