PMA Companies appoints Sullivan as VP of Commercial Product Management

PMA Companies has named Christopher Sullivan as its new vice president of commercial product management, effective July 2025. Sullivan joins the organisation with over three decades of insurance industry experience, including a long tenure at Travelers, where he held various senior leadership roles. Most recently, he served as second vice president of business insurance property, boiler and machinery, and surplus lines product development. At PMA, Sullivan will be responsible for driving the development and execution of commercial insurance products, aligning product strategy with broader business objectives and client needs. During his time at Travelers, Sullivan oversaw global and domestic property, boiler reinsurance and surplus lines portfolios, leading product innovation, underwriting strategy, and market intelligence. He also played a key role in managing third-party administrators (TPAs) for the Discover Re Business Unit, overseeing compliance across more than 100 TPAs and implementing best practices for cost management and subrogation. PMA Companies has welcomed the appointment, highlighting Sullivan’s track record in cross-functional leadership and commercial product development.
