ACORD launches North America digital hub

ACORD Solutions Group (ASG) has launched a North American regional hub for its ADEPT platform, expanding its global push to digitise data exchange across large commercial and reinsurance transactions. The ACORD Data Exchange Platform and Translator (ADEPT) platform allows brokers, carriers and reinsurers to exchange placing, accounting and claims data in a standardised, automated format — improving speed, reducing manual work, and increasing data accuracy throughout the value chain. To mark the launch, ASG is offering one million free digital transactions to each new North American carrier and broker. The initiative is designed to support market adoption and extend the benefits of digital messaging across the region’s insurance and reinsurance markets. The platform is based on ACORD’s Global Reinsurance and Large Commercial (GRLC) standards and is already in use in regional hubs across Bermuda, Spain and Italy. With the addition of the North America hub, ADEPT continues to expand its footprint in line with the Ruschlikon initiative — a cross-market collaboration effort led by some of the world’s largest (re)insurance groups. ASG says the platform enables firms at any stage of digital maturity to replace manual, siloed processes — such as rekeying data from emails or spreadsheets — with automated, interoperable messaging. The result is reduced cost, improved efficiency, and streamlined processing of complex risk transactions. The organisation plans to continue its rollout of ADEPT regional hubs, with further launches scheduled for Dubai, Singapore and the Nordics. The goal is to create a fully connected global network that supports seamless cross-border communication and digital transformation across the reinsurance and large commercial insurance markets.
