RiverStone International has announced the appointment of Paul Brockman as group chief executive officer, succeeding long-serving CEO Luke Tanzer, who is set to retire later this year. The run-off specialist has also promoted Andrew Creed to the newly created role of group president, in addition to his existing position as group chief financial officer. Brockman is expected to take up the CEO role in January 2026, subject to regulatory approval. He joins from Enstar Group, where he most recently served as group chief commercial officer. His previous roles at Enstar include group chief operating officer, group chief claims officer, and CEO of both its US and European operations. With over 30 years of experience in the legacy sector, Brockman brings expertise across the US, London, Bermuda and wider international markets. Creed, who has been with RiverStone for more than 12 years, has played a key role in the group’s growth as finance director, group CFO, and CEO of its UK and Lloyd’s businesses. His promotion reflects his extensive knowledge of the group and his ongoing leadership role in shaping its strategic direction.
