WTW appoints new Director of Strategic Risk Consulting in Asia

WTW has appointed Daphne Duan (Wheal) as director of strategic risk consulting (SRC) for Asia. Based in Singapore, Duan will lead the SRC practice within WTW’s Engineering, Risk and Analytics division across the region. She will be responsible for delivering risk and insurance optimisation solutions to multinational and large regional organisations, with a focus on integrating captive and specialty consulting. Duan joins WTW from Marsh Asia, where she led the Specialty and Quantitative Risk Analytics unit. She previously held senior actuarial roles at AXA Partners and Argo Group in London, where she was responsible for reserving. A qualified actuary in the UK, Duan brings nearly 20 years of experience in risk analytics, reserving and insurance advisory across both the UK and Singapore. WTW says the appointment supports the firm’s commitment to expanding its strategic risk advisory offering for clients facing increasingly complex exposures in Asia.
