Lockton has appointed Nick Serrault as chief operating officer (COO) for its US operations. Serrault brings nearly two decades of experience, including almost 10 years in leadership roles at Lockton. He will report directly to Tim Ryan, Lockton’s US president. He most recently served as COO of Lockton Dunning, overseeing the firm’s People Solutions business across Texas and Louisiana. Serrault will remain based in Texas as he transitions into the national role. Ryan says: "Nick is a trusted leader with a strong track record of success and I am excited to partner with him. “He has helped one of our largest and most innovative People Solutions operations thrive — and now he will bring that same focus and impact at a national level.” Reflecting on the move, Serrault adds: “We are building something strong — a business with momentum, a culture of collaboration, and a strategy that works. “I am excited to carry that same mindset to our broader US operations and work alongside the US leadership team.” With Serrault moving to the national COO role, Lockton has promoted Mark Kuonen to succeed him as regional leader. Kuonen, who is based in Dallas, will oversee operations and business development across Dallas, Plano, Houston, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Austin, New Orleans, and Baton Rouge.
