Registration has opened for the 2025 Cayman Captive Forum, with organisers reporting unprecedented demand on day one. More than half of the available spots were filled within 24 hours, based on the final 2024 attendance figure of 1,570 delegates. Hosted by the Insurance Managers Association of Cayman (IMAC), the forum will take place from 2-4 December at the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman. IMAC says the forum’s rapid early registrations reflect strong global interest and continued confidence in the Cayman Islands as a leading captive domicile. Kieran Mehigan, IMAC chair, notes that the level of demand “underscores the forum’s global reputation and the continued strength of Cayman’s international insurance sector”. Michael Wild, chair of the IMAC Forum Committee, adds: “Every year, we strive to raise the bar, and this early response affirms that delegates see the value and vibrancy of what we’re delivering.” He stresses that the team is “working to curate a powerful agenda and memorable experience for all who attend”. Organisers are encouraging early registration as remaining spaces continue to fill rapidly. The programme and keynote speakers are due to be announced in the coming weeks.
