QBE Re strengthens A&H team with five new hires

QBE Re has added five new hires to its accident and health (A&H) team in London, appointing Henry Brigstocke as the new division's head. In addition, the firm onboards Mollie Sallery as assistant underwriter, effective immediately, and hires Georgina Raeburn as senior underwriter and Harriet Ayre as underwriter, who will both start in October. They will be joined by Jack Crotty as underwriter, who will start in November. Brigstocke has almost 20 years of industry experience, including previous roles in A&H at Canopius Group and Kiln. Sallery’s previous insurance experience includes positions at Aon and Canopius Group. Raeburn will join the team from Arch and Ayre will join from Hiscox. Crotty will join from Gallagher Re, where he was most recently divisional director and broker for its Life, Accident and Health department. Mark Jackaman, general manager at QBE Re in London, comments: “We are pleased to bring additional strength and depth to our A&H team under Henry’s leadership, which further evidences our commitment to and growth ambitions for the product. “The new team will use their wealth of experience and knowledge to develop our A&H portfolio and maintain the service excellence and technical expertise that is synonymous with QBE Re.”
