BMS Re strengthens MGA business with six new hires

BMS Re, specialty reinsurance arm of global broking group BMS, has appointed six new hires to its managing general agent (MGA) business, ProLink Solutions. The hires include one executive vice president (VP), Alicia Santocki; two senior VPs, Scott Fields and Stephanie Fick; two assistant VPs, Colin Curran and Charles Ill; and one executive assistant, Cora Cruz. Additionally, Brenda Martinez-Cox, assistant VP, has been promoted to technical broker. Santocki worked as a partner and managing director at FMG Assurance, and as partner at Wilson Elser. Fields was managing director at Venture Captive Management, and Fick served as VP and senior treaty underwriter at Swiss Re. Curran worked as an underwriter at Berkley Asset Protection and Charles Ill worked as assistant VP in cyber solutions at Aon. Founded within BMS Re in mid-2023, ProLink Solutions encompasses programmes worth nearly US$6 billion in premiums across more than 50 insurance carrier relationships. Desmond Bonhan, managing director at Prolink Solutions, says: “With these appointments, the team at ProLink Solutions goes from 15 to 21 people, a great marker of how much we have been able to expand in a year. "The new appointments bring a mixture of fresh talent and industry experience which will strengthen the team in all areas, supporting our clients as demand continues to grow, and build on the excellent platform ProLink has developed so far.”
