Marsh’s MGU Victor has appointed Tim McDougald as president of its US specialty underwriting business. In this role, McDougald will be responsible for the overall growth, innovation and talent development of Victor US. Based in Boston, he will report to Victor CEO Charles Williamson. McDougald brings leadership and insurance experience spanning 34 years at Marsh, where he served in various leadership roles in both New York and Boston. Previously, he led Marsh's New England Operations for eight years. Commenting on the appointment, Williamson states: "As we continue to grow our presence in the US market, Tim McDougald is the ideal candidate to lead our US specialty underwriting business. “His expertise and experience will help drive results for our carrier partners while we continue to deliver innovative insurance solutions for our customers.” McDougald says: “I look forward to collaborating with the talented team at Victor to deliver insurance solutions for brokers and their clients and drive success in the marketplace.”
