The Insurance Managers Association of Cayman (IMAC) is to make conference sessions from this year’s Cayman Captive Forum (CCF) available online. This will allow ‘virtual attendance’ at the conference for the first time. This year’s CCF, which marks its 30th year, is currently being held at the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, from 28 November to 30 November. For those unable to attend the conference in person, recordings of the 2023 conference’s sessions will be accessible via a special online content pass. Sessions can be viewed on demand from the end of January 2024 for a period of three months. The event is focusing on technology, topics such as AI in captives and complex cyber renewals feature strongly on the agenda. Other topics include enterprise risk management programmes and ESG issues. The pass will also include access to bonus content, including additional material not featured at the forum, providing more valuable insights, even for delegates already attending the forum. Sponsored by EY, passes for the CCF’s online content, will be available to purchase for US$100, although conference attendees with a ‘Networking+’ pass will automatically receive access. Alanna Trundle, this year’s CCF chair, comments: “We are always looking at how we can add value to the CCF experience, as well as make this event as accessible as possible to industry participants.”
