The Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA) has made scheduling changes to its 2024 annual conference. These shifts are based on attendee feedback. During its October board meeting, the association’s board voted to approve changes to the 2024 annual VCIA conference. The structural changes “have been made to enhance the US’ largest captive conference,” says the VCIA. The changes include: the removal of the added fee for the Captive Immersion, the Monday reception being open to all conference attendees and the keynote speaker being reduced to one from two. The conference’s 12 to 15 August dates will remain the same. Commenting on the new conference schedule, VCIA president Kevin Mead, says: “We are a nimble and responsive association. We listened closely to what members and attendees told us about their conference experience, and this new conference schedule removes barriers and optimises what’s most valuable about our flagship event.”
