Loomis has appointed Athina Pehram as chief risk officer, effective from 27 November. Loomis is a Stockholm-based company offering solutions for managing payments. Pehram brings more than 10 years of insurance and risk management leadership experience to the role. She joins Loomis from Autoliv, where she was director of group risk management. In her previous role, Pehram introduced new ways of using Autoliv’s Utah-based captives. Pehram will continue her involvement with captives in her new role. She currently serves on the board of the Swedish bank, SEB, in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. Commenting on her new appointment via Linkedin, Pehrman says: “I have met so many experienced and skilled colleagues [at Autoliv], learned a lot about the automotive industry and set up my own dream team.”
