Kara Ebanks named CIMA head of insurance supervision
Kara Ebanks has been appointed as the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority’s (CIMA) head of insurance supervision division. Ebanks has served as CIMA’s deputy since April 2021. She joined CIMA in 2007 and has held numerous roles at the company including chief analyst. In her new role, Ebanks will continue to be the primary contact for most international associations and national risk assessment activities. Cindy Scotland, managing director at CIMA comments: “[Ebanks] is a competent professional and her promotion is a testament to her hard work and value to CIMA.”
