Grainne Richmond has been elected to join Bermuda Business Development Agency’s (BDA) board of directors. Richmond will take over audit and risk committee chair from Fiona Beck, who finished her tenure at the board on 31 March. Richmond has more than 20 years of risk and insurance solutions experience. She currently serves as Aon’s executive vice president, head of captives. Richmond comments: “I am pleased to be joining the BDA’s board of directors. Given the macro-economic factors we are faced with, the BDA’s mission is more critical than ever and I look forward to contributing to Bermuda’s success at this important time.” Commenting on Beck’s departure, Michael Hanson, BDA chair, says: “I would also like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to Fiona Beck for her seven years of service to the BDA.”
