Hylant has acquired moving and storage industry insurance firm Aegis Insurance Services. The company now operates as Aegis Insurance Services, powered by Hylant. Current employees of Aegis will join the Hylant team, including CEO Barbara Stevens, president Scott Stevents, executive vice president John Bilton and chief operating officer Pattie Keys. Brian Boone, regional CEO for Hylant’s Southeast region, says: "[The Aegis team’s] deep expertise in the moving and storage industry and commitment to exceptional customer service make them an excellent fit for Hylant. This acquisition strengthens our presence in the Southeast and expands our capabilities in this important industry."
