Intangic MGA, a cyber managing general agent (MGA) has appointed Debbie Durkan as commercial director to drive growth and distribution. Since Intangic MGA’s launched its cyber parametric policy “CiFI” last month, Durkan has been responsible for developing relationships with the MGA’s target client base, large portfolio insurance companies, brokers and captive managers. Based in London, Durkan has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance market and has held various senior roles in insurance broking firms. She joins Intangic MGA from Marsh, where she most recently served as chief client officer UK. Prior to that, she was global head of business development at Bowring Marsh. Commenting on Durkan’s appointment, Ryan Dodd, founder and CEO of Intangic MGA, says: I am thrilled someone of Debbie's calibre is a part of the team, spearheading our growth strategy as we kick into high gear.” He adds: “I look forward to working with Debbie as we continue on our growth trajectory, including plans to launch in the US soon."
