Risk and Insurance Strategy Consultants (RISCS) and Cutts-Watson Consulting (CWC) have completed a planned merger to become RISCS CWC. The business will be led by RISCS’ founder and managing partner Oliver Schofield and Malcolm Cutts-Watson, CWC’s founder and executive chairman. Schofield has been appointed as CEO and Cutts-Watson will assume the role of non-executive chairman. RISCS is a UK-based captive and risk advisory consultancy. Headquartered in Guernsey, CWC specialises in captive insurance consulting and offers a range of services. Commenting on the merger, Cutts-Watson says: “I’m delighted to announce that the merger went smoothly and the combined resources of RISCS CWC are now available to all our clients.” Schofield adds: “This merger is a significant step towards our vision to be the number one independent global captive and alternative risk transfer consultant. “Our expanded team of consultants are working together on a range of exciting engagements. We see this merger as a springboard to further growth across the globe.”
