Nevada insurance commissioner leaves post
Barbara Richardson has stepped down from her role as Nevada insurance commissioner. Richardson has served at the division since March 2016. Prior to taking up the position of insurance commissioner in Nevada, Richardson was New Hampshire Insurance Department’s director of operations and fraud for 12 years. Before that she worked for CNA, Kemper Financial, the Federal Reserve Bank in Chicago and Putnam Securities. The Nevada Captive Insurance Council says that a new commissioner will be appointed and they will notify members on any updates.
