Marsh’s managing director Stephen Hawkes is set to retire at the end of this year. Hawkes is a client executive and consultant who has worked in the insurance industry since 1978. He has worked across a range of disciplines such as marine, property and casualty, financial lines and risk consulting. Most recently, he led Marsh’s International Advisory Practice from London, providing risk finance advice to clients and prospects. Commenting on his retirement via LinkedIn, Hawkes says: “After a long career in this fantastic industry I retire at the end of this year. I have had the privilege to work with many phenomenal people who have enriched my life in many different ways. “I wish you all the very best in your future adventures and hope that if our paths cross in the future we can reminisce over a relaxing drink of some kind. With my heartfelt thanks to you all.”
