Donald Ashwood joins Aon
Aon has appointed Donald Ashwood as accounting executive of business development for their captive and insurance management team. Ashwood joins the company from the Oklahoma Insurance Department, where he has served for more than eight years, most recently as a captive coordinator. Previous to this, he was a loan editor at BankFirst. Ashwood graduated from Oklahoma City University in 2011 with a BA in mass communications. Commenting on his appointment via LinkedIn, Ashwood said: “It has been an honour serving Oklahoma for the last eight years. I have served under two great Insurance Commissioners, worked alongside an exemplary staff, and found my passion for captive insurance. Let the new adventure begin!”
