HDI Global SE has appointed Golshid Hamidi to assume responsibility for controlling and finance. As part of the finance department, Hamidi will report directly to Christian Hermelingmeier, chief financial officer. Hamidi has more than ten years of professional experience in providing consultancy services to primary, reinsurance and industrial insurers. Prior to joining HDI Global SE, Hamidi was senior manager of business consulting for Europe, the Middle East, India, and Africa for financial services at EY. Before EY, she was a senior manager at KPMG Germany. Jochen Krause has been interim head of controlling and finance at HDI Global SE, in addition to his responsibility in reinsurance accounting. Commenting on Hamidi’s appointment, Hermelingmeier says: “The appointment of Golshid Hamidi is giving us a colleague with excellent knowledge of the latest issues in the area of finance and controlling. Her experience on a variety of projects in global industrial insurance and reinsurance represents a valuable source of knowledge for us that will be extremely helpful in the context of our transformation in the area of finance.” He adds: “I thank Jochen Krause for temporarily taking on the mantle of the twin responsibilities associated with leading the two departments.”
