BevCap Management has appointed Joshua Lees as director of consulting. The risk programme management firm specialises in alternative risk for business professionals in the lines of commercial auto, general liability, workers’ compensation and employee benefits. BevCap Captive Group is a homogeneous group captive insurance company designed for the needs and exposures of the beverage distribution industry, such as long-term pricing control, potential for reduced costs, buying powers, broader distribution of risk, and enhanced loss control, risk management and claims services. In his new role, Lees will work with BevCap’s producers and account managers on clients’ risk management consulting needs, as well as lead strategy on complex placements for existing clients and new business opportunities. Lees brings with him extensive experience in property and casualty underwriting and customer stewardship, having previously served as managing director and middle-market business development director in the construction, technology, oil and gas, marine and public sectors at Travelers. Before that, he held the position of Traveler’s member company representative and executive committee director for the Property Insurance Association of Louisiana.
