Sedgwick names UK client director

Sedgwick has appointed Heather Moyes as client director to enhance the firm’s corporate markets offering in the UK. As a provider of technology-enabled risk, benefits and integrated business solutions, Sedgwick provides tailored insurance solutions across the lines of property, casualty, marine, benefits and reputational risk. In her new role, Moyes will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and prospects, with a particular focus on client retention and new business development. Moyes most recently served as a senior account executive at Zurich Insurance, before which she was a client accounts manager at Cunningham Lindsey. She has experience in account management and business development across the insurance industry, particularly in surveying, loss adjusting and underwriting sales. Commenting on the appointment, Nicola Dryden, chief client officer at Sedgwick, explains: “The effects of the COVID-19 pandemic have been particularly felt through asset risks, corporate market volatility and business interruption.” “Now more than ever, our clients require reassurance and consistent advice to guide them in this ‘new normal’. With her proven background, Heather is perfectly positioned to provide that reassurance and further enhance Sedgwick’s client relationships.” Moyes adds: “I have been particularly impressed by how Sedgwick leads with new and innovative solutions for the benefit of clients and their customers. I look forward to dedicating my efforts towards preserving the delivery of a highly tailored, quality service to both new and existing clients.” Earlier this week Sedgwick rebranded its operations in Indonesia to consolidate its group strategy in the Southeast Asia markets.
