KPMG shifts islands leadership

KPMG has appointed Neale Jehan (right) as regional senior partner of its Islands Group, effective 1 October. The Islands Group of the audit, tax and advisory services firm comprises five firms across 14 jurisdictions, spanning the Cayman Islands to Malta and including financial services, digital and infrastructure sectors under its scope. Based in Guernsey, Jehan will also join KPMG’s Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) board while remaining as senior partner of KPMG’s Crown Dependencies operation, a position he has held since 2019. Jehan comments: “I am delighted to step into the regional role and lead this fantastic grouping of firms. We have worked together for over 20 years and will continue to leverage our knowledge and experience of living and working in island jurisdictions, whilst retaining close links into European and US markets.” Elsewhere, Tony Mancini (left) has been appointed to the newly-created role of office lead for Guernsey, where he will be responsible for overseeing KPMG’s strong focus on the local market. Mancini recently completed his two-year appointment as chair of Guernsey International Business Association. He adds: “It is a pleasure to take on this role, and I am determined to push forward our growth plans for the island, focusing on what we do well and continuing our long standing contribution to the local community.”
