Aon expands its national healthcare practice with three new appointments

Aon has recruited Audrey Greening, Heather McClure and David Eiermann to its national healthcare practice. Based in Washington DC, Greening joins Aon as chief broking officer within the firm’s healthcare practice. Greening has more than 30 years of experience in the industry, most recently focusing on developing risk financing solutions for her suite of clients. She will lead the national team of healthcare brokers and drive strategic initiatives that bring the highest level of innovation to Aon’s clients. She returns to Aon after holding several leadership positions at Gallagher and Integro. Meanwhile, McClure joins Aon as chief risk advisor for its healthcare practice, and will be located in Dallas. McClure, who specialises in legal issues in the healthcare space, most recently served as the chief risk officer of OU Health at the University of Oklahoma. She was responsible for the combined operations of the risk, claims and insurance divisions for all entities of the health system as well as more than 2,500 faculty physicians, resident physicians and medical students. In her new role, McClure will bring strategic thought leadership to Aon’s healthcare clients and deliver innovative solutions. Finally, Eiermann, who will be located in Tampa, joins Aon as a senior member of the broking team within its healthcare practice. Eiermann most recently worked at Berkley Health, where he was vice president and senior underwriter. Prior to Berkley, he was employed by Aon as a broker. Focused on the healthcare industry throughout his career, he brings a well-rounded perspective on the industry, given his years as an underwriter. Eiermann joins the Aon national healthcare team as a highly specialised professional liability broker. Commenting on the new appointments, Martha Jacobs, Aon’s national healthcare practice leader, says: “Aon continues to invest in resources and share thought leadership, providing solutions that enable clients to assess their evolving risks, navigate the challenging market conditions and enhance their human capital strategies.” “We are committed to bringing the highest calibre expertise to the industry. The addition of Audrey Greening, Heather McClure and David Eiermann to Aon’s healthcare practice demonstrate Aon’s commitment to attract professionals with impeccable credentials, strong backgrounds and diverse perspectives to further drive unique thought and innovation in the healthcare industry,” she adds.
