Milan Pavlik has joined Beecher Carlson as senior vice president, alternative risk. Reporting to Greg Myers, executive managing director, Pavlik will be responsible for developing programmes and business with a focus on the defence and technology industries. He will also work closely with Beecher Carlson’s risk optimisation group on their risk align finance techniques. In his new role, Pavlik will be remote for the most part however, he will work out of the firm’s Miami office when needed. Pavlik joins from Swiss Re, where he was based in New York as a key account manager since 2017. At Swiss Re, he was responsible for overall business relationship and risk management advice of Swiss Re Corporate Solutions North America clients across all business lines. His other experience includes roles at AIG, Intelsat, Goldman Sachs, KPMG Advisory, and American Insurance Management. His first role was in 1999 as an account executive at Commonwealth Risk Services/Legion Insurance.
