Paul Lewis named regional director of MAXIS GBN’s new Americas strategic accounts division

MAXIS Global Benefits Network (MAXIS GBN) has promoted Paul Lewis to regional director, Americas as part of a new strategic accounts division in the Americas region. Reporting to Ricardo Almeida, head of business development at MAXIS GBN, Lewis will oversee the new division. Lewis has more than 15 years of experience working with multinational organisations and implementing global employee benefits programmes. He joined MAXIS GBN in 2016 and most recently headed up the US east region’s business development team. Prior to joining MAXIS GBN, Lewis was a regional sales manager with MetLife Expatriate Benefits and had worked for eight years with Aetna within underwriting and international account management. In addition to Lewis’ promotion, Paul Miehlke was appointed as director of the newly formed Americas strategic accounts division. Christinea Chase is also expanding her role as a senior client relationship manager for the East of the US. MAXIS GGN has also promoted Diana Daszewski to senior account manager. Miehlke, Chase and Daszewski will all report into Lewis. Almeida says: “Our Americas team has gone from strength to strength in the last few years and does an exceptional job working with some of the largest and most sophisticated multinational companies in the US, Latin America and Canada.” “With Lewis’ leadership, we’re very confident that we will see even more positive results, with a strong focus on customer experience and teamwork. We’ll be able to continue the growth in the region and cement both MAXIS GBN and our network members’ positions as market leaders,” he adds. Commenting on his new role, Lewis notes: “I’m delighted to be given the opportunity to further grow MAXIS GBN’s presence in the Americas region. It’s one of the most competitive markets, home to some of the world’s largest multinationals and has a highly sophisticated employee benefits sector.”
