Marsh has appointed Tamara Simpkins Franklin as chief digital, data, and analytics officer based in New York, effective 1 October.
Reporting to John Doyle, president and CEO of Marsh, Franklin will be responsible for designing and implementing digital technologies and enhancing the use of data and analytics to transform how Marsh supports and serves clients.
She joins Marsh from IBM where she was most recently vice president of media and entertainment solutions, North America.
Franklin brings more than 25 years of experience leading digital transformations and defining strategies for large multinational organisations, including Scripps, Time Warner, and Motorola.
