The Self-Insurance Institute of America (SIIA) has cancelled its Self-Insured Workers’ Compensation Executive Forum because of concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event was due to be held in Cincinnati, Ohio on 12 to 14 of May.
SIIA noted that details with regards to refunds/credits will be sent out in the coming days.
In the announcement, SIIA said: “On behalf of SIIA’s elected leadership and professional staff, we hope that all of our members stay safe and healthy in these challenging times.”
SIIA also cancelled its Self-Insured Health Plan Executive Forum, due to take place on 16 to 18 March in Charleston, South Carolina.
