Sovos appoints Andrew Hocking

Andrew Hocking has joined Sovos as a director of managed services, EMEA, based in London.

Reporting directly to the managing director for Europe, James Buckley, Hocking will be responsible for all of Sovos' insurance premium tax (IPT) managed services.

The new appointment comes at a time of increased investment in Sovos' technology-enabled services, which aims to expand the firm’s geographical reach to service the IPT needs of clients on a global level.

Prior to joining Sovos, Hocking was an advisor at PwC, providing tax and technology advisory services across the financial services sector in EMEA and the Asia Pacific region, with a focus on compliance automation and data analytics.

Commenting on the appointment, Hocking said: 'It's an exciting time to be joining Sovos. More than anything, I'm looking forward to meeting our clients to not only understand their compliance challenges but to also showcase the incredible strength of our team, talk about the latest technical developments in IPT as well as our use of technology to improve the end to end client experience.”
