Kutak Rock has promoted Michael Low to partner.
Low, who concurrently serves as president of the Arizona Captive Insurance Association, has been with the firm since 2017.
Prior joining Kutak Rock, he held positions at Lewis Brisbois, Low and Cohen, and Low and Childers.
Additionally, Low served as the Arizona director of insurance between 1980 and 1984. At the time of his appointment, he was the youngest insurance commissioner in the US.
Low said he was pleased to be invited into the partnership of “a very fine firm”.
He continued: “I intend to continue to emphasise Arizona as a great place to domicile captive insurers and look forward to an active 2019 in that regard.”
“We have a number of initiatives promoting Arizona as a leading captive jurisdiction and I anticipate a successful working partnership between the Arizona Captive Insurance Association and the Arizona Department of Insurance in that regard.”
