L&C continues growth with new partner appointments

Independently owned wealth and asset manager London & Capital (L&C) has appointed Robert Paul and Kate Miller as new partners.

Miller is the current head of L&C’s institutional division, having joined the firm in October 2017.

Under Miller’s leadership, the institutional team manages over $1 billion on behalf of captive insurers, reinsurers, and supranational organisations, in addition to creating bespoke and actively managed investment portfolios for clients with a focus on capital preservation, growth, and liquidity.

Paul, who joined the firm in 2013 and co-leads the US family office, provides wealth and investment advice to US-connected private client families and trusts.

He specialises in advising families on how to structure their wealth across borders, within the complex tax regime in the US.

The two promotions mark a period of continued growth of L&C, in which the firm has increased its combined assets under management to £2.8 billion.

Daniel Freedman, managing partner of L&C, said Miller and Paul’s promotions is a significant milestone on the firm’s continued path to growth.

Freedman commented: “It recognises the effort, determination, and hard work they have both put in to help take the business to the next level.”

“Our success is built on our passion for building long-term relationships with our clients with a personalised approach to financial planning and portfolio management.”

“This is true for both our private client and institutional lines of business.”
