Marsh creates global head of cyber risk consulting role

Marsh has appointed Kevin Richards to the newly created role of global head of cyber risk consulting.

Richards main responsibility will be leading the strategic development and delivery of the company’s cyber risk consulting business worldwide, closely working with its regional and local cyber risk experts and the cyber insurance brokerage teams.

Previously MD at Accenture, Richards has also held roles at Ernst & Young, Crowe Horwath and Neohapsis.

He is a widely recognised member of the cybersecurity and consulting industries and was inducted into the Information System Security Association Hall of Fame.

Richards, who will be based in Chicago, will report to Michael Poulos, president of Marsh Risk Consulting and global head of client advisory services.
