M&T Bank has appointed Kyle Samuel as senior vice president and president of M&T Insurance Agency.
An insurance veteran with over 26 years experience in the industry, Samuel’s most recent role was as a managing director for USI Insurance Services.
Prior to USI, Samuel held roles at Wells Fargo, Aon Risk Solutions and Chubb Insurance.
Additionally, John Rumschik, senior vice president of M&T Bank, will become vice chair of M&T Insurance Agency and will be taking on strategic oversight for its planned growth initiatives.
According to M&T Bank chairman and CEO, Rene Jones, Samuel will bring a wealth of industry knowledge to the company.
He explained: “He will be instrumental in helping us continue to integrate the property & casualty insurance and employee benefit solutions we're able to provide to our commercial clients across the bank's footprint.”
