The Pan-Asia Risk and Insurance Management Association (PARIMA) has added three new board members.
Rehana Box has joined as a board member for PARIMA Australia, while Satoshi Hoshi and Takehisa Banno have joined the board for PARIMA Japan.
Box, a partner at international law firm Ashurst, specialises in insurance law and advisory and retail financial services. She is a leading advisor on insurance in Australia.
Currently general manager, insurance, food and consumer services division of Toyota Tsusho Corporation, Banno has three decades of experience in the global insurance industry and manages two captives and brokers in 14 countries.
Hoshi, senior general manager of risk management of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, is responsible for implementing the corporation’s enterprise risk management strategy and for introducing the its first global insurance programme.
PARIMA executive director Stacey Huang commented: “PARIMA’s membership growth signals an increasing appetite for professional development opportunities in the risk management profession.”
She added: “Getting country-level representatives strengthens PARIMA’s ability to engage better with existing and potential members on a local level, allowing us to gauge their needs and concerns more specifically.”
