Captive insurance expert Richard Marshall has joined Tenant Property Protection’s board of directors.
Tenant Property Protection, based in Arizona, partners with self-storage operators to provide protection of tenant goods.
Marshall has 30 years of experience in the captive insurance industry. He currently serves as a consultant to businesses, helping form captives and risk retention groups.
Previously, Marshall helped launch R&Q Captive Management and served as chairman until 2014. In addition, he worked as the first captive insurance administrator for the Arizona Department of Insurance.
Harry Sleighel, principal owner and board chair of Tenant Property Protection, commented: “Richard Marshall’s expertise in captive insurance, risk management and regulatory processes will be invaluable to have on our board.”
Marshall added: “Harry Sleighel has a rock-solid, proven business that offers self-storage owners and operators a much-needed service. I’m happy to provide whatever support I can to make Tenant Property Protection successful and help it grow into the market leader as protection plans continue to replace tenant insurance.”
