Umer Islam named EY Bermuda captive leader

EY has appointed Umer Islam as leader of its captive insurance practice.

Islam has over 14 years of experience specialising in assurance and advisory services to insurance and reinsurance clients in London and Bermuda.

He also has knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, International Financial Reporting Standards, Solvency II and various other insurance regulatory regimes.
