AXA Poland is set to capitalise on strong growth opportunities in the Polish market in a bid to expand its employee benefits business.
Maxis Global Benefits Network (GBN), a network co-founded by MetLife and AXA in 1998, will support AXA providing the company with a range of solutions, market knowledge and expertise in pooling and global programmes, including approaches to pricing and data management, to help seize opportunities for growth.
In addition, AXA will hire three experienced insurance professionals to assist with the expansion.
AXA Group, who entered the Polish market in 2006, has continued to grow its market share across more than 10 business lines, including employee benefits.
As of 1 January this year, AXA Poland had an approximate 2 percent share of the domestic employee benefits market.
Konrad Zakrzewski, head of group insurance department at AXA Poland, said: “For the last few years, we have created growth in group insurance through the delivery of new products, the development of sales networks and a well targeted value proposition for business partners.”
