British Insurance Brokers’ Association promotes Steve White

The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) has hired Steve White, currently head of compliance and training at the same firm, to the post of chief executive, with effect from 1 May 2013.

BIBA Chairman, Andy Homer, additionally announced that Graeme Trudgill, BIBA’s head of corporate affairs, will also be promoted to the main board of BIBA. Trudgill will take the post of executive director reporting to Steve White, also effective from 1 May 2013.

Steve White joined BIBA in 2004 and has spent over 35 years in the insurance industry, previously working at the Guardian Royal Exchange Group, the General Insurance Standards Council and the Financial Services Authority.
