Lagasca joins Towers Watson

Towers Watson has appointed Conrad Lagasca vice president in its reinsurance brokerage business. Based in San Francisco, he reports to Hugo Kostelni, executive vice president, reinsurance brokerage.

In his role, Lagasca is responsible for working with Towers Watson's key clients and potential clients in the western portion of the United Sates on the strategic development of reinsurance programs, and improving those companies' business performance. He will also support the continued expansion of the company's professional liability practice.

"We are looking forward to Lagasca becoming a vital member of our reinsurance brokerage team," said Kostelni. "His strategic vision and keen focus on the many issues in the market will benefit our clients as they do business in this extremely fluid environment. Conrad's successful record for execution, and his incredible passion for this industry, will be beneficial to Towers Watson and our reinsurance clients."

Prior to joining Towers Watson, Lagasca was most recently a vice president at Willis Re, where he was involved in a variety of managerial and client services-related initiatives since 2001, including the development of proposals and the negotiation of excess insurance, treaty and facultative reinsurance programs to the global market.
