Willis appoints Rider to Global Captive Practice

Willis has appointed Sean Rider as managing director, sales and consulting, Willis Global Captive Practice. Rider will be responsible for developing and executing global marketing strategies, captive consultancy offerings, and best in class consultancy procedures across Willis’ Global Captive Practice.

Rider will also be involved in coordinating with business units across the Willis platform to deliver Willis’ Captive expertise and offerings to existing clients and prospects.

Rider reports to Les Boughner, managing director of Willis North America’s Captive Practice and Malcom Cutts-Watson, managing director of Willis’ International Captive Practice.

Having joined Willis in 2007 and previously served as senior captive consultant for Willis North America’s Captive Consulting Practice. Rider brings deep industry experience to the role having previously held positions at HSBC Insurance Management and Discover Re.
