The Cayman International Reinsurance Companies Association (CIRCA) opens early bird registration for ReConnect 2027, its international reinsurance conference, taking place on 15 and 16 April 2027 at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman. Early bird registration is available through 30 October 2026. The conference brings together senior leaders and professionals from Cayman and other reinsurance markets for two days of discussion, knowledge-sharing and networking. The association says the 2027 programme focuses on current and emerging issues shaping reinsurance, regulation, capital, risk, investment and the wider market. CIRCA describes ReConnect as an industry forum rather than a sales-focused event, combining discussion with opportunities for delegates to exchange ideas and build relationships outside the formal programme. R. Cameron Leitch, vice chair of CIRCA, says: "ReConnect is about bringing people together to have the conversations that matter to the industry. The quality of the program is important, but so is creating an environment where people have the time to exchange perspectives and build relationships with colleagues from Cayman and across the wider market." Planning for the 2027 programme is under way, with speaker and agenda details to be announced in the coming months. CIRCA was founded in 2020 and serves as the collective voice of commercial reinsurance companies in the Cayman Islands, promoting collaboration, advocating for regulatory excellence and advancing educational initiatives in the territory’s reinsurance sector.
