PARIMA to hold Singapore conference in October

The Pan-Asia Risk and Insurance Management Association (PARIMA) holds its Singapore Conference 2026 on 14 and 15 October at Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay, running under the theme "The New Risk Order". A masterclass day on 14 October precedes the conference on 15 October. The event concludes PARIMA’s 2026 calendar of regional events. The conference day includes a session on captives featuring Kelvin Wu, head of risk management at International SOS and president of the Singapore Captive Insurance Association, Javier Mirabal, chief technical officer at RCG-Risk Consulting Group, and Christopher Beazley, chief commercial officer at SCOR Business Solutions. Other sessions cover governing artificial intelligence risk and cyber insurability, parametric solutions for uninsured risks, the data centre race, and workers’ compensation. Speakers include Martin South, chief client officer at Marsh, Terence Williams, head of commercial risk for Asia Pacific at Aon, Ben Qin, head of Asia Pacific at Descartes Underwriting, and Max Hastings, senior structurer at Swiss Re Corporate Solutions. A session bringing together association leaders features Manuel Padilla, president of RIMS, Franck Baron, president of IFRIMA, and Jane Whiter, interim chief executive officer of RMIA. The masterclass day includes the inaugural grand final of the PARIMA and QBE Next-Gen Risk Takers Challenge, in which six winners from editions held across Asia compete for the title of grand winner. The grand winner takes part in QBE’s leadership programme, Equip 2027. Annacel A. Natividad, president of PARIMA, says: "Singapore has always been an important meeting point for our regional risk community, and we look forward to bringing risk professionals from across Asia-Pacific together once again. PARIMA provides a platform for our community to exchange perspectives, challenge conventional thinking, and collectively shape the future of risk." PARIMA is a not-for-profit organisation with more than 2,600 members representing over 1,300 companies. Captive Insurance Times is a media partner for the PARIMA Singapore Conference 2026.
