Mitch Caster joins WTW as manager for risk consulting and actuarial consultant, taking up the role in August 2026. Caster moves from Pinnacle Actuarial Resources after seven years at the firm, most recently serving as consulting actuary from February 2026. Caster previously held the roles of associate actuary, senior actuarial analyst and actuarial analyst at Pinnacle, having joined in September 2019. Caster’s actuarial work has covered funding studies for prospective group captive members and single parent captive programmes, and feasibility studies for group captive insurers. Caster has also worked on loss reserve analyses for insurance companies, loss cost projections and actuarial support to insurance departments for financial examinations. Before joining Pinnacle, Caster worked as a statistical reporting analyst at State Auto Insurance. Caster holds a bachelor’s degree in quantitative analysis from Franklin College.
